Customer Reviewsfrom Arizona, United States June 1, 2012Music Background: Hobbyist Gibson Les Paul Studio SunburstThis is my first Gibson and I am impressed with the quality of the instrument. Being left handed there are not a lot of guitar options and the few color options(black being the most prevalent) get old fast. When I saw the 2012 Studio color options this year I knew after years of wanting a Les Paul studio the time had come to get one. The finish of the guitar is fantastic the pictures taken of the individual guitar are great representations of what the guitar looks like. The 60's slim tapered neck is very comfortable to play more so than the other guitars I own (fender MIM strat and Schecter C1). The new Granadillo fingerboard looks great and sounds great too. The guitar came perfectly setup, a great low action and no buzzing. What is truly amazing is how great this guitar sounds. I don't know how much playing time my other guitars will get now that I have this one. This guitar has proven to me that Gibson guitars live up to reputation that is synonymous with quality and excellence. Further, this being my first purchase at Sweetwater I was impressed at the level of individualized customer service that this company provided.
