Customer Reviewsfrom Campbell CA. August 10, 2012Music Background: Collector, player, and hobbiest. Super Sweet sound and easy playabilityFirst off, the reason for the 1/2 start deduction. It has a rosewood board. Should have been ebony. Also should have locking tuners. The guitar has a perfect balance. The charcoal stain on the maple gives off an almost silver hue. The white you see in the photos is more silvery and a golden tone of the maple. I thought the gold hardware was a bad idea at first until I saw the guitar in person. It's stunning. The kind of guitar you just open the case and stare at for a long time, and then play the heck out of it. No orange peel at all in the finish. The neck is very comfortable, not too fat or too thin. I play blues, classic rock and jazz mostly, and this guitar covers all those sounds with ease. I would have liked to see straplocks or at least lockable buttons installed, but will live without them for a while.
