You can't cover "Crazy Train" without a Vibra-Slap.
Customer Reviewsfrom Toledo, Ohio June 26, 2012Music Background: Professional Vocalist I wish they would have carried the Vibra-Slap II DeluxeThe Vibra-Slap has always been my favorite percussion sound effect. This unit works just fine, but the deluxe edition has a longer ring-out time and a slightly lower, fuller sounding timbre.from San Francisco, CA October 11, 2011Music Background: Bass Player, local band Check out BOTH the LP208 and LP209I bought this without knowing there was a bigger version with deeper tone and longer sustain - which is what I was looking for. This is the LP208, its bigger brother is the LP209. I have now bought both, and the 209 is more useful overall, in my opinion. Though there is a good case to be made for owning both for a choice of tones. LP also makes a metal one, but before you buy that you should hear the sound sample on LP's web site - that one rings like a bell, which isn't necessarily desirable in a Vibra-Slap effect.
