Before I put these up mixing was almost impossible. I have a pretty small home studio (12x12 bedroom) and the bass was taking over. As soon as I put these up there was a massive difference. I could actually hear the clarity of the guitars, the drums, and the bass. It was no longer a mud fest.
One thing that did surprise me was how big they actually are. For some odd reason, even though they give you the exact measurements, I thought they were about the size of a breadbox. Nope. Way bigger. Not complaining, just thought I would mention it. Hope this helps.

I got 8 of these to treat a home studio. I used 10lb velcro strips to hang them which has worked great with no issues a month in.

I've been in a hundred studios. I've been a home recording enthusiast since the late 80's.
I know this stuff is everywhere and I've sensed the applications in "real" studios.
But adding 4 to the corners of my garage brought the bass so tightly focused I couldn't believe my ears.
These are a must have for any home studio.

The room has tightened up wonderfully. Yes, you can buy higher end bass traps and I have played and recorded in higher end studios, but you cannot beat the bang for the buck.

I was having problems with the low end in my small home studio especially when trying to record vocals. I purchased 4 to begin with and right from jump I noticed an improvement. So I ordered 4 more and it's a night/day difference between not having any, to now having 8. I plan on purchasing more in the near future!!!!
