Customer Reviewsfrom Waterloo, IL September 27, 2012Music Background: Semi-pro Musician Bose L1 Model II Dual Bass SystemOur band has 6 stacks of these we've been using for 3 years now and we love them. Got tired of hefting a traditional PA with heavy cabinets and gave these a try. We are a very high tech 'backing tracks' 5 piece group and we use them in a different way then Bose recommends. 3 stacks for the backing tracks and 3 stacks for strictly vocals all running from a Mackie 4 bus Onyx mixing console. Works great for us. We've played many rooms and outdoors with this system and audiences love that you don't blow out their ears yet they can hear the band well from everywhere in the room. GREAT coverage! As long as you have these set up at least 8 feet behind the vocal mikes you can really blast them without feedback. No need then for monitors saving more space and $'s. The band hears what the audience hears and it is much easier to blend our live instruments (electric guitars, electronic drum kit, percussionist and keyboardist) with the backing tracks for correct balance. (backing tracks are all bass guitar parts, 3rd guitar parts, extra keyboard parts--drummer doesn't even need a click track) Works extremely well for our band!
