Komplete 8 ultamate upgrade software

This software package is awesome for the upgrade price I paid for it. and I previously had Komplete 7.

Buying Komplete 8 ultra gives you just about every piece of software that Native Instruments provides minus the Traktor 2 and Maschine programs.

The Komplete 8 software now comes on an external DVD drive rather than all the DVDs in past versions. Basically just plug the drive into the USB port and select/open the drive to get to the setup programs. I have a windows 7 pc and the entire installation went great. After install was complete went to NI service center and activated all the software. Install took about 1.5-2 hours to complete.
You need about 200 Gigabytes for all the software to be stored to the computer.

Also within the service center they provide all the latest upgrades you get for free. Just select them and do the download and install them. Have had no problems with installs or upgrades.

I am not going to list all the software, just go up to Native Instruments website and look at everything except traktor and Maschine and that is what you will be getting-about 50 software programs. The Major progam is Kontakt 5 which contains about 30 of the programs within Kontakt. Anything from pianos, orgrans, drums, bass, guitars, and exotic atmospheres sounds. Your not just limited with these, go out on the web and look for allot of free additons to add to each of the libraries. if you cant find the sound you need, each program you can design you own unique sounds or tweak any preset sound.

The other main programs are absynth, massive, kore, FM8, battery, and reaktor. Each have their own unique sounds to them and are all awesome and you can add more to each of them to expand your libraries. All the 7 main programs can be used in standalone mode or as a VST plugin within a DAW sequencer program.

If you were to buy all these programs individually, it would be about 3 or4 times more the total cost.

All in all. if you are into composing like I am, it is a wealth of sounds at your disposal. So if you are thinking about buying a few of their programs, you might want to buy this whole package for a little more cost.

I own Komplete 7 and have been happy with it (aside from taking forever to install with all the DVDs). When Komplete 8 Ultimate came out, it seemed like a great deal with all the extras packaged in it. Just having the hard drive to install the software off of is a huge timesaver! Soooo nice. All that's included is amazing! Just a note: Not everything is included on the hard drive. Once you register your product, you will receive an email with the link to download (received my emails the next day) SOLID MIX SERIES and Retro Machines. Totally worth the price!

This budle is "EPIC".This is no doubt the best bang for your buck.I was about to buy Omnisphere and all of a sudden i recived an email about Komplte 8 ultimate.I was blown away buy all of the stuff you get inside.Also you get tons of virtual processors to make your track shine with pro results.This package is all you need for the complte studio experence inside your home.Omnisphere will have to drop it's price now to compete with this hungry komplte beast.Sorry Spectronics Native-Instruments gives me more bang for my buck.Komplte 8 runs good with pro-tools 9 on my pc.I hear Omnisphere crashes alot on the pc with pro-tools 9.Just look at all the fourms.

Having Kompete for many years the upgrade from 7 to 8 was just ok. Pro Strings, Mutations, were very nice additions but pianos (Alicia Keyes) not so much. I suggest wait till 9 comes out if you have 7 already. It was nice to have it on hard drive for loading. And there are lot of sounds to explore.
