Perfect companion to Garageband!

I have been looking for a controller/audio interface like this since the M-Audio Ozone and Ozonic were taken out of production.

This is a great way to go if like me you record guitar, bass, vocals and external gear direct. Or if your mic'ing needs are minimal.

Or if you play synths live it's a great way to go, just a laptop the 49i and your software(I use Reason 4).

Only thing really missing is Phantom power but its not a big deal if you have a external mic pre with it or just use dynamic mic's. And it would be nice if it had a MIDI input.

Trust me its worth the price.
