I find it a bit bright on vocals , But does pretty well on softer voices,again a Good pre would add warmth. I do plan on buying a second for stereo Micing as over heads ,No need to spend$1,000 for akg or u87 as over heads ,If you place them correctly along with proper mics on the snare and Kick ? You will have a great sound ,The Ksm 27 is a very soild Mic .I believe for the price shure could have put on a more Long lasting Rubberband for the shockmount I sometimes feel ts gonna snap ? But handled well ,it should last awhile. Great as a second Mic for Guitar cab's-Just a Soild Little workhorse ! for the price ? Buy two ! I also own a At3030 the BlueBird by Blue and a Rodes nt2--I perfer the KSM27 Over ALL---Rodes Is with respect ! A Better Lead Vocal Mic. But You Must have a KSM27 ,You will Love it. close [-]
