Customer Reviewsfrom United States July 11, 2012Music Background: Recording Engineer, Professional Musician Great Mic StandGreat hardware and has long boom. Great price too!from Atlanta, Ga. May 7, 2012Music Background: Singer/songwriter/performer PerfectWhat can you say about a mic stand? How about this, In twenty years of performing I've used many different stands, but this one beats them all. Built like a tank and heavy enough to hold it's own against a rowdy drunk girl in the front row, you can't go wrong with this one. It might cost a little more, but you only have to buy it once. Go ahead, splurge, get the good one. You'll be glad you did.from Fishers, IN July 21, 2011Music Background: Drummer. The stand(ard)When loading up my car for load-in, my neighbors hear this coming from my garage where I keep my mic stands: "Nope. Nope. Nope....HERE THEY ARE!" that is basically me picking through the beat up-slouchy, and unreliable stands from other brands that I've accumulated over the years until I find my K&Ms. Why did I ever buy anything other than a K&M Stand? As usual, they are sturdy, don't sag, and can take an absolute beating which happens when other people "help" you put away your gear. I vow never to stray again, K&M!from LA February 7, 2012 Sturdy and PortableGreat stable mic stand. Good for traveling gigs and other uses.from Massachusetts April 21, 2013Music Background: Retired FOH Guy, helping out the Church now They used to be betterI bought a pair of these to match the others of the same brand-type-function I bought a few years ago. The new ones are a little shorter, a little lighter, and a little less rugged than the previous ones, and yes, they cost more. If I wanted a "value" stand, I would have bought one. Not very pleased with this. |
