Audix Stand Not "Heavy Duty" enough

The base is not heavy or large enough to stand on its own with some of the typical heavier kick drum mics on the end of it, especially when you extend the boom all the way in to the drum. We found a w... read more [+]ay to make it work, but I've seen better. I'd call it a "Mid-Duty" or "Light-Duty" Weighted Base Stand, not "Heavy-Duty." close [-]
