KDFX DESCRIPTION
 
Digital Effects Option for Your K2500!
The KDFX option includes Kurzweil's very latest VLSI Digital Signal Processing chip, a next generation effects processor with four stereo buses, full bandwidth, plenty of DSP power and the most flexible routing scheme available. The KDFX is so powerful, it can actually replace many dedicated effects processors previously needed during mixdown.

KDFX includes Kurzweil's custom designed plug in hardware DSP option along with new software objects, which assign the programs and setups to KDFX. For the keyboard, the sliders now control many effects parameters from program and setup mode (rack users can also take advantage of this by sending the appropriate MIDI controller numbers from their external controller).

KDFX offers over 100 effects algorithms arranged into 260 effects "presets". Presets are presented in over 150 "studio" configurations. Up to 4 separate stereo effects plus a global auxiliary stereo effect are available. KDFX also includes two separate input EQs for each of the 4 stereo (or 8 mono) buses.
