The Takamine Kenny Chesney KC70 was designed by Kenny and Takamine to capture the "island" spirit, while bringing forth incredible tone - both for broad strumming styles as well as more intricate fingerpicking. Its solid cedar top gives you particular warmth, that fingerstyle players love, and that warmth is only enhanced by the solid mahogany body. You can plug in your Kenny Chesney KC70 for beautiful amplified tone - its CT4B preamplifier features a 3-band equalizer plus an accurate chromatic tuner. A striking rosette and island-style inlays also grace the laid back Takamine Kenny Chesney KC70.

Kenny Chesney and Takamine worked together to develop the Kenny Chesney KC70. Kenny wanted to infuse his laid-back, island-loving spirit into the guitar, while also preserving all the rich tone he loves when crafting his hit tunes. Brimming with chilled out tiki-bar flavor, the Kenny Chesney KC70 has custom Kenny Chesney guitar/tiki bar/love graphics on the rosette, which are also featured at the 12th fret. Kenny's signature is inlaid further up the fingerboard.

Tone-lovers will attest: cedar and mahogany are both rich-voiced, full-sounding tonewoods that excel in the hands of nearly any kind of player. Fingerpickers will love the cedar's quick, but not overbearing response to their delicate playing style.
