These were my first set of "studio" headphones I bought when I first started home recording. I was very happy with them for the price. I have used them for about 2 years now and they still sound great... read more [+]. They have held up very nice for me after dropping and sitting on them numerous times. They are pretty comfy but after a few hours they can start to get uncomfortable. The sound is pretty nice on them but I feel the bass is a bit low for regular listening to music like rap or techno, but I bought them for cheap tracking and they were great for that. close [-]

These headphone's really are not the best yet if you are looking for cheap headphones en mass then I can understand the appeal. That being said, they are very painful to wear. I use them in a music la... read more [+]b that i work in and find that after about an hour I have to take them off because they hurt my ears so much. My advice would be to spend the extra twenty dollars and get some Sennheiser HD 280 PRO's. They are far more comfortable and have a much better frequency response. close [-]
