This Grand Auditorium-style guitar features a single Venetian cutaway, with beautiful and amazing-sounding Hawaiian Koa wood making up its top, back and sides. This gorgeous wood is accentuated by breathtaking binding and abalone appointments. The K24ce's tropical mahogany neck is topped with a quality ebony fingerboard, and the neck inlays are specific to Taylor's Koa Series. You'll love the excellent midrange projection you get out of the great-playing K24ce.

shopped for a new guitar for several months, playing different guitars at different stores. I thought the K24ce was a gorgeous instrument, but I wanted to play one as I read a lot about inconsistency ... read more [+]in the tone of the wood and lack of richness of sound.
I played two different ones, and the sound was decidedly different - one was a bit tinny but the one I bought sounded and played amazing. This is a special guitar in look and sound, although the 914ce has a little bigger sound if that's what you're looking for and about the same price... close [-]
