The Marshall JVM210H all-tube 100-watt amplifier head brings you the full range of Marshall tone, from pristine to fire-breathing! The 2-channel JVM210H gives you six "modes," covering two independent channels with three gain stages, each with its own footswitchable memory. It's a great feature for ultra-flexible onstage switching (via the included dedicated, programmable footswitch unit). Two effects loops, independent reverb for each channel, a speaker-emulated XLR line out, and two footswitchable master volumes are also great features onboard the JVM210H.

Marshall JVM210H 100-watt Tube Amplifier Head at a Glance:
  • Channel switching and more
  • Silence is golden
  • Marshall heritage
  • From glassy to a roar

Channel switching and more
The JVM2 series amps don't simply give you footswitchable channels. You get an entire palette brimming with different degrees of distortion, tonality, and effects. The included 4-way switch has five easy-to-read LEDs, making this rig ready for stage use. It's also programmable, so you can set up different combinations of channel, mode (Green, Orange, or Red), reverb level, effects level, and master volume easily. The Parallel/Series effects loops are also switchable on/off. Marshall made sure you'll get the most out of this amp even when your at the front of the stage!

Silence is golden
When on Standby, the JVM2's emulated XLR output is fully operational, allowing you to record in total silence - a godsend for those late night recording sessions!

Marshall heritage
Every JVM2 is made at the Marshall factory in the tonal heart of England. Time-tested, traditional methods of craftsmanship and construction are combined with the latest advances in modern manufacturing technology, ensuring world class build quality and roadworthiness. Internally, the JVM2 circuitry and layout has been kept to a minimum, ensuring the integrity of the guitar tone and an incredibly low noise floor - this coupled with meticulous valve selection and high tolerance, quality components adds to the all-important reliability factor that is synonymous with the Marshall legend.

From glassy to a roar
Two completely independent channels sounds fine, but this amp gives you so much more than that! Each channel features three footswitchable modes: Green, Orange, and Red. These modes give you different voicings and levels of overdrive ranging from pristine clean to super-saturated, harmonic-drenched, sustain-for-days distorted. Of course, the beauty of this configuration is that you can easily dial in these tones and everything in-between, and access them with the touch of a footswitch.

Marshall JVM210H with 1960AV cabinet

Music Background: Musician, recording, live sound
We, the band, have a Fender Super Sonic 12 tube amp combo and an EVH III a 100 watts, 3 channel tube head with EVH 410 cabinet. Both sound great. But if you want that heavy metal sound from a jacked u... read more [+]p humbucker output, none of the newer equipment that I've heard can hang with the JMV210H with 1960AV cabinet. Seems like this cabinet has a lower natural tone. Just thick crunch, slam you in the chest rock & roll. Wiht guitar only, no pedals added. Guitar is ESP Kirk Hammon custom guitat (around $2,500.00 retail) with hot humbuckers. What a sound, very thick Metallica-esq. If this is the sound you are looking for, you'll be hard pressed to find a better soundind amp and cabinet. Oh, yea it is loud... close [-]

This is the amp you want get it now rather than 5 amps from now

by Phil Candella from Louisville KY

Music Background: Playing guitar 30+ years gigging & recording hobbiest
In short this is the amp you need you won’t regret it. I could have saved tons of money if I had bought this amp years before. I spent 30+ years buying amps that were said to be as good as a Marshall ... read more [+]or sounded like one. Several amps & modeling pedals later I finally said what am I doing getting all these things to sound like a Marshall maybe I should just get one.
The one for me was the JVM210 Head. This amp is so versatile and goes from a clean to bluesy crunch to far overdrive. It sounds great al low medium & cranked volumes.

You get 2 channels with 3 modes on each. The modes are different enough so it is like having 6 different channels. You have 2 separate master volumes so you get that boost you need for solos. The reverb is great it sounds natural not processed. I like it more than the reverb on my rack gear. You also have 2 different effects loops 1 that is traditional & another that allows you to bypass the pre amp section for using a modeler. Honestly for live gigs I do not think I will go back to a modeler pedal after getting this amp. All this can be controlled by a 4 button easy to program foot switch. That is the only down side a 6 button switch would have been so much better to have than the 4. The cool thing about it is it connects with a regular (included) guitar cord so you can make it as long or short as you need.

Staring with Channel 1 you have a nice clean sound that works for smooth ballads & country songs. Not Roland Jazz amp clean but I did not want that. The next 2 channels add a little more gain each mode 2 adds a little crunch so it works for blues & soft songs needing an edge. Mode 3 is a little more of the same just a little crunchier. This works well for rock songs.
Channel 2 picks up where channel 1 left off a little more rock sounding like ACDC & Zeppelin. Mode 2 is where hard rock lives Motley Crue, Priest sort of stuff. Mode 3 is the hottest setting & metal players will be pleased here. I tend to use the channel 1 mode 3 & channel 2 mode 1 areas for most for what I play ACDC & 80s rock type covers.

The EQs are separate for each channel & react nicely to changes I dialed in a great tone right away. I put each of them a little over 5 & adjusted to taste. The presence control works for shaping the high end & the presence control does the same for the low end. The all react nicely & if you play with the knobs a little you will get what you need.

The back of the amp has a MIDI jack so if you have an external controller you can change amp channels with it. You have all sorts of jacks to plug in different ohm rated speaker cabs. So you can power just about anything you have. Mine works great on a 4 x12.

I have a blast taking this from clean songs to rocking hard. It works great for playing in my bedroom, a little louder for practice & a little more for gigs. 100 Watts should be plenty for any situation I encounter. It has a 5 year warranty so any of the major stuff is covered for a very reasonable period of time. I have had the amp for about 45 days now & there just seems to be that little extra spark between my guitar & amp reaction. Not to sound silly to but is is almost magical. My guitar hunt ended a few years ago with a PRS now my amp quest is over. If I had only gotten this sooner rather than skimp for something that sounds almost as good. They were good but not this. close [-]

Our Customers Say...

My Sales Engineer is the best. If I need it tomorrow, I have it tomorrow. He makes sure everything is in order and that I'm set up right. I've spent a lot of money at other places, too, but I don't remember them calling me to make sure everything's okay.
