Impeccable mic pre
The A Designs JM-3001 will do your mic and your music justice. The JM-3001 uses a C12X discrete transistor op amp for ultra-solid signal quality no matter what mic you use. You get plenty of gain and a -20dB pad for louder sources, as well as phase reverse and phantom power.

Excellent instrument front end
With amazing sound quality and discrete outputs, the A Designs JM-3001 could be the perfect instrument preamp for your studio. The High-Z instrument input on the front panel sends signal to the EQ output and the main output simultaneously for extra flexibility in your studio. For example, you could plug your bass in and record the main outputs of the JM-3001, while simultaneously EQ'ing the signal and sending it to a compressor and recording that separately for more options when you're ready to mix.

Sweet and smooth EQ
You get a specially-designed EQ in the A Designs JM-3001, with three parametric bands and the option to choose peaking or shelving EQ on the high and low bands. Best of all, the EQ section features an insert send and return for processing external line-level signals. And because the JM-3001 sends input signals to both the EQ output and the main output simultaneously, it's easy to record both the processed and unprocessed signals for extra flexibility when mixing.
