Customer Reviewsfrom Indiana, USA February 7, 2013Music Background: Professional musician for over 30 years. Great bass at any priceI'm a guitar player and needed a bass for home recording. Since I don't play bass on stage, I didn't want to spend a fortune on a bass. The Modified Squire Jazz Bass was recommended by a bass player friend of mine who bought one to take to jam sessions where it might get abuse. Long story short, I was blown away with the neck and tone of this bass. I don't have one single complaint.from Cambridge, MA December 30, 2012Music Background: Recording Engineer, Producer, & Sound Designer Amazing J-Bass for those on a budgetGot mine in the mail 2 days ago and I am absolutely blown away by the sound... The pickups are amazing and It looks as great as it sounds. It feels great too. It's not as heavy as other basses either... It's great for beginners like myself... Not as much bottom end as a Precision Bass but it blends well with my drums which have a lot more bottom in them anyway so I think it will sit pretty well in my mixes... If you're looking for a great sounding Jazz Bass but you can't afford the $1,700 Fender American Deluxe, this is the perfect bass for you...from Corryton, Tn September 29, 2012Music Background: Working musician Killer BassVintage 60's look, impressive sound. Fit and finish first rate. The sound of this bass was very comparable to the American Jazz just a thousand bucks cheaper.from Jackson, Oh.
