A Jazz Bass For 5-Stringers!

The American DeLuxe Jazz Bass^® V gives 5-string players the advantages of FENDER^® innovation with its 3-band active EQ and two dual-coil ceramic Noiseless™ pickups with nickel-plated pole pieces. This Jazz Bass incorporates Fender's 4-over, 1-under tuning machine array and two Hipshot string trees with custom-tailored break-angles that create balanced tension across all five strings.

All newly redesigned American DeLuxe Jazz Basses reflect the latest refinements from Fender's R&D team - including improved pickup design and electronics.

The Jazz Bass V isn't called "DeLuxe" for nothing! Each American DeLuxe Jazz Bass incorporates abalone dot position inlays, rolled fingerboard edges and highly detailed nut and fretwork. A graphite reinforced neck, select alder body and choice of strings-through-body or topload bridge are just some of its finer features.

The American DeLuxe Jazz Bass V includes a five-bolt neck plate, a sculpted heel for easier access to the upper frets and a chromed steel bridge plate with nickel-plated brass saddles.
