A couple things not mentioned

I agree with all the other reviews here...boutique quality at about $1K savings, etc, and I will mention that the bass also has Schaller-type straplocks standard, and multiple slots on the bridge saddles for varying the distance of the strings.

awesome bass !!!

just got it today but LOVE the way it looks & sounds...& it plays so EASY !
I loved all the specs when I was reading about it, but wasn't sure about the "modern C" neck...can't stand modern C guitar necks,usually too small...but this has a round feel to it & it isn't too small...
LOVE IT !!

Most mother-beautifull bass I have ever owned.

Such an absolutely beautifull axe. Plays and sounds like a jazz bass should. I did however replace the standard issue round wound strings with some D'Addario XL chrome flat wounds.

Pricey, but worth it.

There are many boutique basses out there. At first, not being a custom shop bass, I was hesitant to purchase because it is pricey. It feels just great and plays like a dream. beautifully crafted instrument to every detail. Very light and well balanced. Very little tweaking in the studio, just plug and play. I play it through an Avalon U-5 which makes it even sweeter.
