Cy Nfrom South Jersey January 25, 2013Music Background: Studio musician Fender selct JazzI have the 2012 Select (non-active). This bass plays, and sounds incredible. I've owned many boutique basses, but this one is by far the best. A little pricey, but worth every penny. The detailing is top notch. In the studio, no tweaking...plug and play. Can't wait to try the Active model.
Brianfrom Milwaukee, WI USA October 4, 2012Music Background: Semi-Pro Musician, been playing bass since 1970. Most mother-beautifull bass I have ever owned.Such an absolutely beautifull axe. Plays and sounds like a jazz bass should. I did however replace the standard issue round wound strings with some D'Addario XL chrome flat wounds.
