I have an '08 Highway 1 Jazz bass and it plays smooth as silk with more tone than I know what to do with. Very deep & ballsy to as bright as it can get + everything in between.

I owned a '75 Jazz and this bass is better!! I could not get the variety of tone with the '75 as I can with this Highway. Maybe it's the Bad *** bridge, but the difference in sound is remarkable.

Guts and looks - this bass is also beautiful.

I would suggest anyone looking for a killer bass to do themselves a favor and check out the Highway!

been in business for 42 years.. Had them all this is a bad bass kills the other i have Ric, hofner, ebo3. love it always loved the jazz this is my main one from now on. started in the 60s and still have the same musicians playing we did then. All of us relics. wish i had my fender basses i had then but this one still has balls of the vintage ones.

fantastic bass.
when i first played it, i thought it was a $3000+ AUD bass... i looked at the price tag and nearly fell off my seat! I bought one 4 months later, and i wouldn't trade it for any other bass.
