GEDDY LEE JAZZ BASS DESCRIPTION

A Replica of the Fender Jazz Bass Geddy Used with Rush
You just seem to radiate a different vibe when you play a FENDER® Geddy Lee Jazz Bass®. This bass just seems to have a little more mojo than the average Jazz Bass. To put it bluntly, it just kills in both looks and sound! Even if you're not a fan of Geddy Lee or Classic Rock and Metal, just pick one up, wrap your hands around the surprisingly comfortable extra-thin neck and listen to the tone; Oldschool, full and punchy! Like we said, you may not be a fan of Geddy Lee, but we guarantee that you will become of fan of the Fender Geddy Lee Jazz Bass. Built according to Geddy Lee's personal specifications, it's based (so to speak), on the '72 Fender Jazz Bass®, one of the best-sounding and most versatile basses ever made. Whether your style is Rock, Metal, Hardcore, Funk, Blues, or Jazz, the Fender Geddy Lee Jazz Bass® can do it all. And oh, the neck, the neck, the neck!

“Yes, all the reviews are absolutely true. These pickups must be waxed dipped, 'cause they are super quiet, meaning no extraneous noise. Thick and clear tone. Yes, the neck feels like heaven. It's all due to the Japanese high high quality. They are fanatics about quality control. Be picky only about the weight. Some of the Geddy Lees are a ton; but once in a while you find a light one. ...” Read More

Sweetwater Expert Advice

"I originally bought the Geddy J-Bass because I am a huge Rush fan. To my surprise, I started using this bass for more and more styles of music. Having played a Ric Bass for many years but wanting more tones, this bass offered both the thinner neck and flatter radius I was used to and more tone than I expected at this price. Hat's off to Geddy Lee and Fender for putting amazing sounding pick-ups in a bass that could cost a lot more."
