Awesome Sound! Great Feel!

I was indeed blown away by this guitar. It feels incredibly smooth in the hands. The slim neck is super fast. The range of sounds are amazing. I have been playing for a long time (1971-) and this guitar is superior to most anything. The Maple Fretboard and Big Black Blocks are icing on the cake. At this price point it is a MUST HAVE. Bought this guitar from Sweetware last year. I meant to leave these comments earlier.

Great Bass!

Great bass for the price. I'm a long time guitarist that needed a bass for recording and I wanted to expand my playing as well and this bass fits the bill perfectly. It sounds great, plays easily and looks good in the process.

Fender Geddy Lee Bass

This is actually the 2nd one of these basses I have purchased. I already had a black one which is killer & this burst bass is even better than the 1st one I bought. The build quality is top drawer! No defects. Tone & sustain is to die for with no dead spots. There is a slight bit of hum due to the single coil pickups which is normal, but the sounds & tones this bass will do more than make up for this minor problem. Actually, I have owned older J basses & I must say that these new ones have a lot less hum. The neck is thin & fast - feels like an old jazz bass should feel! I have owned & played some expensive custom shop basses in the past, & I will go on record to say that I much prefer this model J bass over ANY one I have ever played. Having just celebrated my 40th anniversary as a bassist (and my 30th anniversary as a studio musician), that is saying a lot! Fender has hit a serious home run with this bad boy! My only complaint is that this bass deserves a hardshell case. It's too good for a gig bag! I got a nice hardshell for my baby! I would also like to say that Sweetwater Sound is my FAVORITE music dealer. I have made many purchases here & they are simply the BEST!
