Great Bass and Fantastic Service

This is my first quality bass, but I played several brands and models before settling on this beauty. The sound is smooth like butter, and it's hard to put it down. My engineer Gilbert did a fantastic job ensuring that everything was in perfect working order, and the bass arrived in just 3 days. The pictures do not do the bass justice, it's a work of art. I highly recommend the bass and Sweetwater.

Great Bass!

Received my new American Deluxe Jazz Bass in Olympic White about a week ago. It has exceeded my expectaions so far. I can dial in any sound I'm looking for. The low, mid and high controls are a definite plus and I love the ability to switch from active to passive with a simple toggle. The neck is fast and easy to play. The finish on this bass was perfect, and I inspected it closely. The Sweetwater inspection team did a great job. It was ready to play out of the box. I have other fine basses but have always wanted another Jazz Bass to replace the one I sold years ago. This one fits the bill. My sales engineer was very helpful. I'm very happy with this purchase.

Great Bass!

After playing the J bass Deluxe in a local music store i fell in love. The thing that stood out about this bass over the straight Jazz was the wide range of tones you can get out of it! For harmonics turn the mid boost up and the pickup just right of half way and you get those nice bright clear harmonics like Jaco or Victor. For slap its got that huge fender crunch + the ability to fatten it up with the bass boost. And its perfect for just sitting in the groove.
Overall the bass is great! Wouldn't swap it for anything else.
