The Classic Jazz Bass Updated For Today! The American DeLuxe Jazz Bass® captures the spirit of innovation with its 3-band active EQ and two dual-coil ceramic Noiseless™ pickups with nickel-plated pole pieces. All newly redesigned American DeLuxe Jazz Basses reflect the latest refinements from Fender's R&D team - including improved pickup design and electronics. These basses aren't called "DeLuxe" for nothing! Each American DeLuxe Jazz Bass incorporates abalone dot position inlays, rolled fingerboard edges and highly detailed nut and fretwork. A graphite reinforced neck, select alder body and choice of strings-through-body or topload bridge are just some of its finer features. All American DeLuxe Jazz Basses include a five-bolt neck plate, a sculpted heel for easier access to the upper frets and a chromed steel bridge plate with nickel-plated brass saddles.
