The Fender Custom Shop's '64 Jazz Bass Special NOS is a special bass, indeed; this beauty of an axe features custom specs chosen by our own gearheads here at Sweetwater. In addition to the same distinctive J-Bass body shape, slim neck, and dual single-coil pickups that graced the mid-'60s classic, you get a super-playable 9-1/2" fingerboard radius and medium-jumbo frets (the original had a 7-1/2" radius and vintage-style frets). All the hallmarks of Fender's famous bass are here, including the vintage-style tuning machines, the old-school styling, and the time-tested pickup control layout.
