Disappointing

Compared to other digital phone hybrids I've used, this one is very persnickety about the level you send to the caller. Too low, and the caller can't hear you (of course). Too high, and the hybrid's DSP is overwhelmed, with your signal coming back to you hot and distorted - as if you were using no hybrid at all.

It seems that there is some "bleed" or hollowness at all levels. The unit does work, and the people at JK are very nice. For the price, maybe this is all a reasonable buyer could expect. But it is definitely not in the same league as other hybrids available.
