This cable appears to be solidly built, but the reputation of Monster cable has gone down over the years so I'll have to see if it lasts. I use it with an iPad 2 for audio monitoring.

Good quality for sure, but a little bit pricey. Didn't give it a 5 stars because of that and the fact that it is kind of big for laptop/portable work. The plug is gigantic and the cable isn't flexible... read more [+] in order to fit my desk display. But don't get me wrong, the cable itself is very good. close [-]
