Trexfrom SLC March 11, 2011 Music Background: Player,Instructor, and everything else. This is ITThis is one heck of a hot pickup. Mine tested at 13.9 ohms. WOW. It is amazing for playing metal or hard rock. The drawback is it will not clean-up very well. If you run through a clean channel and roll off the volume, the power of the pickup is still there. I run one in a Les Paul standard. It is my Ozzy guitar, that's the only kind of sound you can get from the pickup. This is a great pickup. but if you play more than one type of music, you will need more than one guitar. I have tried all kinds of processors and the pickup still has a very hard time to be cleaned-up. Bewarned.
