The problem with this pickup is that it is a cheap mass produced one. The only positives are that it is relatively cheap and sounds ok clean. Otherwise it's horrendously muddy and clangy. How anyon... read more [+]e could like it is beyond me. I experimented extensively with the height of it, trying in vain to get a good tone from it but I was wasting my time. Spend a bit more and get the 57 classic, which is better by a country mile. Stay away from the 490R. close [-]
