Good at LOW volume, not good for 5 string basses, not a gig amp.

 Music Background: I've been making steady money playing BASS since 1986
I've had Hartke gear for years... The kickback 12, the 2115 combo the 210 combo. The HA3500 head with the 115 cab. and the 410 cab. This amp has good mids and highs but just cannot handle low frequen... read more [+]cies very well.

I did everyhting to get this amp. not to fart on any note below the A on the E string forget anything below the E on the B string...Below halfway on the gain knob, maybe at 10 o'clock everything seemed to be handled by the woofer. It seems to me the speaker is not matched well to the amp. This amp. is best for 4 string bass players and ones that like a lot of mids and highs in their sound...? I liked the Kickback 12 much better... close [-]
