Atfer 5 loud gigs and one out doors the 30 watt setting is all I needed!!!
by Greg Milioto from SouthWest Colorado, September 2008
Music Background: 40 years Rock and Blues in a Power Trio Now
I wrote on review and just wanted to clear one thing up. One guy says he needed to ''plug into a PA to keep up with his bass and drummer'' ; well I play rock and blues in a Power Trio... I never needed it past 30 watts. Must be playing so loud or not tweaking the amp right or some thing. the amp is not a USA thing that I agree but, it's a great sounding versatile light weight amp. Give it a 4.5 for the price and CHINA. BUT it is a TRUE problem solver that sounds great!!!! This amp can Get KILLER LLLLOUD !!!
Some one is getting a good deal, too bad it won't be you!
by Hiram the Luthier from Seattle,Wa USA, September 2008

Really pretty blue lights. A 1500.00 effects pedal with a built in driver. If you plug it into your PA then you could play at same levels as your bass and drummer. Other wise just a practice tool. Also some of the better effects can only be accessed from the $280.00 optional footswitch. Way to rich for my blood considering Mackie it is no longer made in Woodinville Wa USA my home town. it is now made in China.
Mackie Hitwire

Music Background: 40 years Rock and blues
Finally got to gig with it last night. It blew me away. I just used manual mode..I left my Dr Z in amp in the car thinking I was going to need it..I didn't.. I have been playing rock and blues for 40 years and I was thinking it's to good to be true.. I was wrong. this amp is a pro tool!! Tone blew my drummer and bass player away. I was getting real mad because of it's under the radar intro.. Well I have a bad back and 24lbs and 1 to 120 watts is so nice ; I kept it on 30 watts all night. Tone was just as good as the amp styles it switches to. A real winner!!! Get one!!
Still waiting

Waiting for the amp and foot controller since February. I bought on-ling from Sweetwater.com. But reading about it is compelling. I've been playing 48 years and am attracted to the size, weight and everything-on-board, along with 120 Watts of power. After owning nearly every amp, rack, effect unit, etc. seems like this will cover all the bases for me. I'll write more after I get it (hopefully in May, 2008).
