Music Background:  professional weekend warrior

I own several hollowbodys including 2 ES 335 dot reissues, and a ES 137 custom.
All great sounding guitars don't get me wrong, BUT the PrS Hollowbody II is a step above, The guitar is as light as a feather and that just brings out so much wood in the tone. With the only connection between the top and back being a post bewteen the bridge and back this guitar is nearly acoustic but withiut the feedback, The guitar is completely carved with no laminates like the Gibsons. This gives the guitar way more tonal color in any music style. The fingerboard is smooth and fast like all PRS models. The fat-wide neck gives better leverage and security for bending and fast arppegios. The wider spacing between the strings helps to play clear clean notes with great definition. The body is absolutely beautiful and is great to just look at and admire. If I had to make any critiscism I would say that the sound is so clear and pristine that it lacks any dirty notes. Anyway, well worth the bucks for a world class instrument that you will keep for a lifetime
