Fender keeps the vibe of Armstrong's time-tested axe, but gives it a touch of modern flair and style, captured in the pearl acrylic "Hellcat" logos on the 3rd, 5th, and 7th frets. The Tim Armstrong Hellcat Acoustic sounds fantastic unplugged - thanks to its solid mahogany top and mahogany back and sides. But, onboard you'll find a Fender FTE-3TN preamplifier with a built-in tuner, so you can take the stage with your Tim Armstrong Hellcat Acoustic.

Tim Armstrong is the songwriter behind the infamous punk band Rancid - and behind each of those songs stands Armstrong's songwriting partner: his trusty old '60s Fender Acoustic. Armstrong worked with Fender to design a modern version of his time-tested partner - giving it a strong, rich voice. It also features a few touches of flair - to match up with Armstrong's signature style.

All-mahogany body, for superb acoustic tone
The Fender Tim Armstrong Hellcat Acoustic guitar sports a solid mahogany top and mahogany back and sides, giving it a rich and warm voice pumping from its concert-sized body style with Fender's advanced scalloped bracing. The instrument also features a maple neck, a rosewood fingerboard, and vintage-style open-gear tuners.

Take the stage in style, thanks to an onboard preamplifier/tuner system
While the Fender Tim Armstrong Hellcat Acoustic is primed for great tone unplugged, Fender also packed it with their FTE3-TN preamplifier, complete with a built-in tuner as well as volume, bass, middle, and treble controls - that way, you're always ready to take your songs to the stage.

Stylish "Hellcat" and Skull inlays add a touch of modern style
To give the Fender Tim Armstrong Hellcat Acoustic a look all its own, it sports pearl acrylic "Hellcat" fret inlays as well as two skulls adorning its twelfth fret. With the guitar, you also get the Tim Armstrong custom "Lets Go" strap.
