From Our Research Team:Seven Great Reverbs Plus True Bypass in One Compact Pedal! The HardWire RV-7 Stereo Reverb guitar pedal packs seven great Lexicon reverbs in its rugged enclosure, plus, its true bypass keeps your signal pristine when it's turned off. The pros choose pedals with true bypass because it's the only way you're going to keep your tone exactly the way you want it between your guitar and amp. The RV-7 also features high-voltage operation for improved headroom over "conventional" pedals, plus controls for Level, Speed, Depth, and Chorus Type, as wells as a handy Tails On/Off switch for seamless operation when switching. Want pro reverb in a pedal? Choose the RV-7!Serious musicians are highly selective in their guitar and amp choices. After all, it’s the foundation of their tone. Adding effects to their signal chain is done judiciously. And when they turn off an effects pedal, they need to know it’s not creating undesirable noise or coloring the unique character of their tone. In a true bypass pedal, the signal passes straight through the box when the effect is bypassed. When it’s on it’s on. When it’s off it’s off. All HardWire pedals feature true bypass. With the high-output pickups found on some electric guitars, it’s not unusual to hear clipping when playing through an effects pedal. This occurs when the voltage range produced by a guitar’s pickup is greater than the operating voltage of the effects pedal – normally limited to the voltage supplied by the effect’s battery or power supply. HardWire pedals incorporate special circuitry that increases the operating voltage “headroom” above that of the typical pedal. As such, HardWire pedals are compatible with a wider range of guitars and are also at home in an amplifier’s effects loop. HardWire RV-7 Stereo Reverb Guitar Effects Pedal with True Bypass Features:
The HardWire RV-7 puts an incredible range of reverbs at your feet!

August 11, 2010 Music Background: Adequate for a digital / NOT True Bypass!

The RV-7 is NOT true bypass! It's buffered and colors your tone (not a lot, but it colors your tone) and when the battery runs dry, the so-called "true bypass" doesn't work, it just clips and chirps in a horribly ugly fashion. close [-]
