Turn Your 19" Rack into a Eurorack Synth!

Ready to build your own custom Eurorack synth? The Tiptop Audio Happy Ending Kit is the perfect place to start. This kit comes complete with an 84HP Eurorack framework you can drop into any standard 19" rack with 3U or more of space to spare (you'll find many to choose from here at Sweetwater), plus it includes a power supply with connections for up to 10 modules. The framework includes a pair of 84HP Z-Rails and a pair of Z-Ears, which accommodate rackmounted and desktop setups. The slim microZEUS power supply is only 4HP wide and includes a pair of ribbon bus boards, providing power to +12-volt, -12-volt, and +5-volt modules, plus it comes with a 1,000mA Ault power adapter to get you going. Just add Eurorack modules, and you're good to go.

Great product- easy assembly

Works as intended
Assembly only took 5-10 minutes- with help from a friend to keep the ear brackets steady.
Power is consistent draw according to my meter.
Flying bus boards are awesome.

Great Solution

I have 11 of these and they work perfect have never really ran into any power limits but you do want to check the power requirements for your modules to be safe. Get some Rack Mount racks 9U or 12U and they are a great solution if you are building up a eurorack system. I wish I could have purchased a very large custom case and probably will at some point to house the large system I have now but if you are slowly building of a system or expanding your's they are great. I have a couple large office desks that I purchased at Ikea and also some smaller base Rack Mount wood cases that I have recently put as a base for my other rack-mounts to expand my system and it works for me. Eurorack is a rabbit hole so be careful and do a lot or research on the modules you choose to fill these racks with. Also, at least for me, the learning curve was a bit steep and it may take time to figure out good patching techniques that I am still trying to master and frankly remember each time I sit down to experiment. There is a lot of crap on youtube but there is also a lot of good stuff generated by eurorack systems. Check out Brent Naucke Mansions Album for a well crafted album with a Eurorack system at the center and accompanying instruments. As you can see you in my photo can go a bit nuts. Something I have been working on since 2012. Have Fun

All that you need to get started

I am new to analog modular synthesizers. After I watched "I Dream of Wires", I decided to give it a try. The first piece of equipment I got was this kit. It is sad at first, because I got it without modules, but next month I got a VCO and an Headphone amplifier. A couple of months later, a low pass filter and a VCA, then a LFO and envelope generator... The quality of this product is outstanding.
I made a wood enclosure for the rack as some of the cables of the power module are loose. It works like a charm with all the modules I got from Doepfer. I am so glad Sweetwater is carrying Tip Top as their costumer service is outstanding and shipping is free.

Once upon a time there was a avid synthesist who wanted more out of her synthesizer rig. She longed for a deep, pounding kick drum and a bassline that just won't quit.
