first off great workmanship from steinberg. now the real things you should know is that this is halion inside of hypersonic engine. this is not the traditional hypersonic 2 that we all love and cheri... read more [+]sh. I have hypersonic 2 and there are a lot of sounds that are missing out of halion sonic that were previously in hypersonic 2. like the guitars and leads and effects and drums and basses. hypersonic why they did that no one knows. if the people love something you don't take it from them. that is my only disappointment. over all it is a great vsti. If you are using fl studio and have songs with hypersonic 2 used as a vst it wont work after installing halion sonic. you will have to find your sound that you used and resave as a new song after installing halion sonic or just un install halion sonic and reinstall hypersonic to pull the song back up. why i dont know but any way it is to me your basic synth like hypersonic 2 but not all the sounds. just wish they would of combined all of the sounds as they were and then you would have one of the greatest vstis in the world but its up to steinberg to let us import hypersonic 2 sounds into it so we would have a great production tool. close [-]
