This amp is all I need.

I've played country guitar professionally for 35 years, and I've had most of the great amps at one time or other. I'm finally glad I got around to buying the Hod Rod Deville 212, because it's the best amp I've ever owned... hands down. It sounds extremely good with my Vintage '62' Custom Tele (reissue). I'm so happy with my Hod Rod Deville 212 that I'm going to buy another one. One for stage (reluctantly, it stays in the band trailer) and one for home use/recording.
Beautiful amp
by , September 2008
I thought that this would just be a good first tube amp but it turns out i bought an amp loud and good enough for any gigs i would ever play.
it's versatile, it sounds great (especially with strats & teles) and the footswitch included makes switching between sounds easy.
btw, the clean sound is to DIE for!
it's really heavy but worth it.
Best Tube Amp

I have owned this amp for 8 years. There is nothing close to it. For blues its hands down the best sounding tube amp.

My god,This amp isn't from this world. There is nothing to say about the clear channels.Everybody knows about it. Bur for me the overdrive channels are awesome. There are guys who searching for years to simulate this dirty broken overdrive sound. Some people hat espacially that. But for all who looking for an nasty Cramps or trash sound no ground.pedal on the market gives you such an overdrive. But be carefull .You need an strong rowdy for that monster.

This amp is a monster..... If you can't find a tone you like with this amp... you can't find tone period! My only semi-problem with it is it's HEAVY as hell!!!!!! The sound is second to none worth every penny! Buy it!
Hot Rod is Hot

I recently purchased the 212 version of this amp. It is very loud for practicing in the house but oozes tone from the second you play the opening chords of Lenny. You will have to fiddle around a bit until u get the sound u want. The 212 version sounds a bit different than the 410. 212 has a more meaty tone. Be sure to try this amp out before you buy it as it mightn't take everybodys fancy, but the clean channel cannot be beaten by any other and i've owned (Vibrolux, Bassman, Vibroverb) you would probably have to purchase a Super Reverb to better the clean channel on this devil.
Deville, the only way to go

I have had this amp since about 1998-99 when I bought it new. I loved the gritty bluesy tone of it. When coupled with a TS-9 I can get a raunchy version of SRV anytime. This amp is LOUD for 60W. I have gigged it off and on for years with no problems. This is the clean/dirty monster your momma warned you about!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
