Customer Reviewsfrom WI, USA December 15, 2011Music Background: gigging, teaching, recording guitarist/bassist Lots of rock n roll attitude, fantastic resultsThis channel isn't a transparent or surgical tool. It imparts a certain coloration and attitude. It isn't always audible when you hear a track by itself, but put this on guitar tracks and they'll cut through the drums, bass, keys and the rest of the mix with a little extra attitude and edge. It can even takes a loose or muddy bass track and tighten it up a little and make it sit better in the mix.Sounds great with bands boosted, not just cut. Sure, an additional mid band, and continuously variable frequency, Q and gain knobs are cool, but what this plugin does with just its preset mid frequencies on one mid band, and only one frequency for the treble control, with boost or cut selectable only in 4 dB increments, sounds better than a lot of plugin EQ's that have all the fancy features. To me it's all about the results. Great tone and a great sounding mix is more important to me than lots of tweakability.
