Amazing headphones! Love them!

The Pioneer HDJ-2000 headphones are a very good set of headphones. They offer great performance, sound quality, and comfort.

First of all, this is the best sound quality I've experienced from headphones. Sound is crisp and clean, and reproduced accurately. The bass response is also great. These headphones seem to play all the frequencies very evenly. No frequency range seems to drown out any other.

They don't provide any significantly loud treble or bass, just more of a flat-eq, one that more accurately represents the music that you're listening to. This should of course, be exactly what you're looking for in professional headphones.

I'm not sure if these headphones have the best sound quality out there - they don't shine or anything like that in comparison to some nice MB Quart Speakers, but you can't compare apples and oranges - these are headphones, not speakers! I'm definitely satisfied, but I can imagine there may be something better out there.

The build quality of the headphones is nothing short of amazing! The look good, and feel strong. You can also fold them many different ways, including flat. (That works well if you need to put them in a bag). I drag these headphones everywhere, and I'm not worried about breaking them. The ear and head cushion pads are a very soft leather material.

I was a little concerned about the Mini-XLR connector that connects the cable to the headphones. The pins are very small and seem like they could be bent easily. To avoid complications, I never unplug the cable from the headphones.

I'm not sure if they're worth the full MSRP, but Sweetwater has a good price for this product. I use these headphones daily, and I drag them everywhere. I DJ at parties, use them to watch Netflix on my laptop, use them as earmuffs in cold weather, and put them on to block out noise while studying boring textbooks. I haven't had a problem yet!
