Simplicity, Professionality, and Durability.

I had shopped around for other interfaces and couldn't let this one go. It will not dissapoint you. Worth every penny. I have windows and this thing did not give me any troubles whatsoever in the installation process. And the meters on the front are by far better than the DIGI 192 I/O. I like the metal frame, it's tough and feels almost bullet proof and the card doesn't take up gobs of space in my computer. Miles of head room for Pre amps. Simply genius.

It's Worth Every Cent!

I love Motu for delivering high quality at an affordable price. When used with my Avalon 737 or UA 610, I can't begin to tell the difference between it and a Pro Tools HD setup. I have used both! I recommend spending the extra money on nice microphones and pre amps. They'll never go obsolete!

Great on a Mac

Love this unit. Just sounds great, and has the pro audio features and connections that I need. I didnt have the best luck running this on XP personally. But on OSX it has been rock solid and reliable for all my sessions. I just feel the windows drivers were not as well written as the Mac ones. Otherwise its a great unit. I really do love the sound of the converters for the price.

Seriously? Yep, some real bang for your buck. MOTU landed this piece in the sea of interfaces with great finesse! This isn't the new guy on the block either. While MOTU's HD 192 has been around for a little while, they have kept upgrading their PCI cards to keep up with modern day computing capabilities. From PCI, to PCIx, to PCIe 424 cards, these HD interfaces sound great! This 2 rackspace unit boasts 12 In and Out, word clock, AES/EBU, very nice meters on all 24 channels, sample & bit rates up to 192Khz 24bit, and converters that you would be surprised to find in an interface of this price range. With the 424 card allowing you to expand from 12 In and out to a hefty 48 channels coming in and out of the DAW of your choice, your future expandability is not limited. Running well on Mac and Win OS's, and with any major software player, you get to customize your rig the way you want, and let it grow with your needs.
