Evolved. Loud. Attitude. When Line 6 introduced their Insane custom model in 1996, they redefined how much distortion you could squeeze out of a single piece of gear. Now the Line 6 HD147 has 14 custom models like Smash, Big Bottom, Octone, Purge, and Agro that will send you into high-gain overload. But, Line 6 didn't stop there. The Line 6 HD147 models are based on boutique heads like the Diezel VH4 and Herbert, Peavey 5150, Cornford mk50h, Marshall Silver Jubilee and JCM2000, and Bogner Extacy and Ubershall. Effects Sometimes a little bit of "grease" helps the HD147's 300-watts of medicine go down. That's why Line 6 added a bunch of great stompbox models to the HD147 from their MM4 Modulation Modeler and DL4 Delay Modeler pedals. Now you can add effects models based on the Maestro EP-1 Echoplex, Roland Space Echo, Electro-Harmonix Deluxe Memory Man, MXR Phase 90, Uni-Vibe, and Leslie 145. Lin 6 also included a dedicated Compressor and Gate to the HD147, plus 16 classic reverb types ranging from Plate and Chamber to vintage Spring.
