Mackie HD 1221 !

So I got an Axe Fx II a few weeks ago and decided to go the FRFR route instead of an amp and cab. Best gear choice I have made in years. The Mackie is better than I thought it would be. Very clear and it sounds massive. If you're using a modeler of some kind I would strongly recommend the 1221. You won't find very many reviews on this speaker but just take the "risk" and get it if this is the kind of thing you are looking for. All 3 guitarist in Periphery are using them, Tosin Abasi from Animals as Leaders and Fractal Audio was using them at the last L.A. amp show.

I really like these speakers a lot. they have a good amount of power, especially in a smaller indoors setting. And are everything they are advertised to be. nice clean highs and mids and good bass response(even more so with the eq curve switch on) I did push these speakers to there max and they didn't give me any problems until after 8+ hours of continuous heavy use; one of them started over heating and would cut in and out in protection mode. They do sound much cleaner and crisper when used with a sub with a crossover, that really gives the highs and mids some room to come out clear.
