This versatile amp delivers full-on tube tone! The Blackstar Blackfire 200 Gus G. Signature amp can go from ultra-clean to crushingly crunchy, giving you a ton of hands-on control to dial in the perfect sound. In fact, when you toggle between the Bright and Warm modes on the clean channel, the Blackfire 200 actually reconfigures its preamp voicing and power amp damping, giving you bright and ringing Class A performance or that warm and crunchy Class AB sound. You also get Gus's signature Fire and Fury channels on the Blackfire 200. Fire brings you classic high-gain distortion you've come to love. While the Fury channel takes your sound over the top with screaming lead tones.

Good tone doesn't just happen - you have to make it happen. Listen to Gus G.'s work with Ozzy. Those are precisely crafted and tweaked tones. Blackstar and Gus made sure that the Blackfire 200 is ready for action by including a powerful EQ section. Each channel section features Bass, Middle, and Treble controls, and they also added Blackstar's Infinite Shape Feature (ISF) control. The ISF control allows you to allows you to tweak the amp's tones from extremely American-sounding to extremely British-sounding and anywhere in the middle.

Last, but not least, the Blackstar Blackfire 200 has a convenient DPR (Dynamic Power Reduction) control. Grab the DPR and adjust the output power of the amp from 200W all the way down to 20W of the rated power. While Gus leaves it at 200 watts for his gig, your gig may not need quite that much volume. Use the DPR to get the perfect amount of power at gigs, in the studio, or in your bedroom. The control even adjusts the power amp compression, giving you a more playable "feel" when you're enjoying the comfortable listening levels of the reduced power settings.
