I got GURU after searching for the perfect solution for my drums. All I could find were either cheesy pop drum-kits or the infamous 909/808 drum samples.
With GURU I got exactly what I wanted - a huge collection of samples, processed with a variety of effects, suitable for a multitude of electronic music genres. GURU also provides a great variety of fill-in samples perfect for propelling the tempo of my tracks.
Definitely a great purchase.

By ar the best virtual drum machine i have ever used. The swing and feel is incredible, its like having an Mpc inside your computer, frankly it made me not buy one. Perfect for Hip Hop drum programming and the automatic loop slicer is such a joy. I can not recommend this product more and frankly to tell you the truth i have used a lot of virtual drum machines and this is is the first one that gets it in my opinion.

On a scale from 1 to 10, I give Guru a 100!

This product is simply amazing. I can not put into words how this program is THE BEST beatbox, virtual or hardware, to ever come into a composer's studio. It is painlessly easy to use, greatly creative, and it sounds beautiful! This is the first and only MUSICAL piece of software I have come across that you can load on a laptop and leave your midi keyboard at home and still write and arrange sample-based music that will be obviously unique and innovative with a mouse. I know there are a lot of MPC users out there but if they could just open their minds to something new we are going to see a lot of MPCs on Ebay and Guru with a pad controller becoming the heart of their studio.

I'll conclude like this, if you want to be a part of the future of beat-making and you need a creative tool to set you apart from the crowd you'd better get Guru and get it fast. Experienced or not, you will not believe what you create in this program!
