What is it? Basically, it's a 16-foot guitar cable with an end that plugs into your computer instead of your amp. It should be plug-and-play for your Mac and PC (meaning no drivers to install), and the analog-to-digital conversion rate is 16-bit, 44.1kHz, which is the same as an audio CD. (As with any A to D converter, you will want to adjust your recording software's buffer size to minimize latency.) Recording your guitar sure doesn't get much easier or more portable than this!
Customer Reviewsfrom DeLand, Fl November 16, 2010Music Background: Student/Teacher/Hobbyiest. A great way to input guiter into your PCI normally use a Midi/USB box to plug my guitars into my PC for use with Amplitube products. I had need for a second way to input for a student to use in a band I support at school. I use it to plug a bass into the PC and it puts a better signal thru to X-Gear than my Midi box. I had to turn input gain way down. There are no drivers to install (At least on Vista and XP). Highly recommend if your looking for a inexpensive way to plug your guitar into a PC.
