This multifaceted synth module provides you with additive mixing of several combinations of harmonics using your choice of 16 waveforms, followed by granular or phase-modulated processing, which give you phenomenal detuned and wave sequencing effects. The easiest way to understand the Grainy Clamp-It is to break it down into two sections. The additive section provides you with additive mixing of four harmonics using your choice of different waveforms and 16 combinations of harmonics. There's a separate control for mixing the selected harmonics. You also get a granular section, which gives you granular or phase-modulated mixing of your signal, with a sync option. This lets you use granular processing or phase distortion to further modify your waveform. Granular processing gives you control over grain length and grain position, for sync, detune, and wave sequencing effects. Phase distortion provides you with thick detuned sounds and wildly varying pitch/timbre effects. To put it plainly, the Grainy Clamp-It gives you additive mixing followed by granular and phase-modulated processing, so you can create all sorts of cool sounds!
