Great product, great price.

I purchased this along with the On-Stage clamp-on boom mic to attach to the back of my 2 tier keyboard stand for an all-in-one stand solution for keys and vocals.

The gooseneck is very sturdy. Has no problem holding up and keeping in place my Shure SM58 beta, max extension at a 90 degree angle. Box it came in says its rated to hold up to 2.5lbs (1.13 kilos) so make sure the mic or whatever you are you are looking to attach to it weighs that much or less (including clip).

Great product for microphone placement!

MSA9030 Gooseneck- 13" Black

This gooseneck (13") was very supportive and so easy to move to a good position, did not move out of a position until we moved it to another position. The black color went well with the black microphone we purchased and was so sleek and professional looking.

Stealthy flexibility

Too many people step up to a microphone, these days, with no idea how to adjust them. They push and pull, twist and tilt, and eventually they get lucky or they brake something. It doesn't seem to matter if I use a traditional straight mic stand, a boom stand, or one with a squeeze clutch... they all suffer from 'novice abuse'. This black short gooseneck is my answer to the problem. I put one on top of all my straight mic stands. Adjustment is obvious, easy, and self maintaining. The black color conceals that there is any attachment. I simply set the stand, myself, to fit the tallest person while straight and everyone else can pull it down to their desired height quickly, easily, accurately with a minimum of fuss. Best of all, nothing gets damaged and no one looks stupid on stage trying to figure out how to work the mic stand.
