Engineers are always looking for fresh tonal colors and approaches when tracking - the search for great sounds is almost an obsession! Chandler feeds this addiction with their innovative take on the technologies of the past. The Germanium Tone Control EQ is a perfect example. It begins with the unique Feedback and Drive controls found on the Germanium Pre Amp/DI. Tons of flexibility right there, but things really take off with both active and passive EQ circuits! The separate low-frequency cut and boost sections can operate independently or interactively, and both the Presence and Treble sections can be swept. We're talking tremendous flexibility, combined with the unique smooth, round tone of germanium transistors - it's a unique EQ that will extend the capabilities of your studio.

Chandler's newest series of units continues with the Germanium Tone Control. The Tone Control uses active and passive EQ circuits in combination with the Germanium amplifier developed for the Germanium Pre and incorporates the versatile Feedback and Drive controls as well. All bands use inductors for the fattest smoothest tone possible. The passive low frequency section is selectable between "Pultec/Lang" interactive curves and more standard low frequency with pass filter for maximum flexibility while the Treble and Presence bands are active and designed to sound like your favorite British eqs from yesteryear. The Tone Control continues the Germanium tradition of undeniable sound with maximum flexibility at a reasonable price. Fans of the Pre are sure to love it!
