Groove Tubes EL-84 Quartet

This matched quartet (no.6) has really brought out the tone in my Peavey Classic 30. The bottom is punchy and clear and is moreso the louder you go. I finally have a smooth response all along the fretboard with the amp going where you push it. The gain channel is robust and responsive to the pre-post volume settings with the power section not getting muddy. I use this amp regularly-originally bought as a backup for my Mesa Boogie Mark 3- it is a workhorse and now has showhorse qualities.
